The Corporation’s Annual Report
When running your corporation, it is important to note that you are requested to file an annual report yearly or biannually in most states.
Although this might seem like a complicated procedure, it is actually simpler than you would expect. An annual report is only a one-page document that contains information related to the federal tax identification number, as well as the officers’ and directors’ names and addresses, in addition to the address of the registered office.
This document is sent to the corporation by the secretary of state. It needs to be filled and sent back along with the required fee, respecting the deadline set.
If these conditions are not verified, the corporation might be under the risk of dissolution.
